Virginia Woolf wrote,
"To write down one's impressions of Hamlet
as one reads it year after year would be virtually
to record one's own autobiography,
for as we know more of life,
so Shakespeare comments upon what we know."

Her insight leads me to draw a parallel to myself.
To log my impressions of my written works
is to record a memoir, for as I have come to know more
of the writing process and myself as a writer,
so my written works comment upon what I know.
